I reached out to Marla after my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia. I knew that trying to navigate the road would lie ahead for me or my daughter was not going to be easy. I knew that the school district would give me a hard time but I also knew that until they did what they needed to do, my daughter was going to need support.
Marla and her team took much of the worry off my shoulders. She “attended” CST (Child Study Team) meetings with me to convey my thoughts and concerns without it being clouded by my emotions.
